For our customer The Coca-Cola Company, owner of one of the largest brands in the world, is looking for an experienced and passionate Social Media Manager for the Belux market.

The Social Media Manager leads challenging projects for the various brands of the Coca-Cola portfolio together with a team of 3 Community Managers.

As Social Media Manager, you are part of the Coca-Cola Consumer Interaction Center (CIC). The CIC is a team of specialists in Social Media and traditional consumer care, which together form the voice / pen of the different brands to consumers. 

Our perfect Social Media Manager is a true ambassador to our brands and is up to date with the latest trends in FMCG, social media channels and the digital landscape. In other words, he / she literally lives his / her life with and through social media and can not imagine a world without these different channels. The Social Media Manager regularly communicates important learning and insights and explains it to a diverse audience in an understandable and engaging way; The international team, the digital & brand team and the agencies. Communication and interpersonal skills are extremely important for this function because the Social Media Manager must lead a team and maintain contacts with different stakeholders.

The Social Media Manager manages projects for marketing (about 80%) and communication (20%) department. He / she focuses on supporting the Digital Manager (based in the marketing department) to define the social media strategy for the brands and to ensure its perfect performance. This role also requires good technical knowledge of the various social media channels: specifications, formats, paid media, etc. Working with social media tools is also important for supporting community management and reporting.

Responsibilities:

  1. Social Media Management:
  • Knowledge of all social media channels and the latest trends
  • Defining and implementing social media strategy for the different brands with the Digital Manager & Corporate Communications Department.
  • Collect social media reports and consolidate reports, deliver lessons and suggestions.
  • The local marketing team inspires learning, trends and benchmarking.
  • Test and recommend new social media tools for monitoring / analytics / community management.
  • Evaluate and adjust best practices from other markets to improve team efficiency and creativity.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with different parties: external agencies such as media and creative agencies, but also "internal" brand managers.
  • Input provides for community management & copywriting when necessary, backup for Dutch-speaking community management
  • Create live event content with the community management team.

 

  1. Team Management
  • Lead a team of 3 community managers, defining team planning and priorities on an annual, monthly and weekly basis.
  • Contact person for HR questions from the team: recruitment support, practical HR follow up, holiday planning, KPI setting for the team, evaluations, talent development and coaching

 

Structure:

The Social Media Manager reports to CIC Manager & Digital Marketing Manager

Job Requirements:

Training: Minimum Bachelor's degree

Related work experience: minimum 3 years experience in Social Media or Digital Marketing
